Alternative Provision
Eden offers bespoke education, vocational learning and SEND support, helping young people find purpose, belonging and opportunity.
Our Mission
The Eden story begins with ACT Care, an established care home that provides nurturing homes for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. As ACT Care residential evolved, one thing became increasingly clear was that for many young people, successfully finding the right home was only part of their journey. They also needed an educational environment capable of understanding their needs and having the right learning pathways to enable them to achieve success in various aspects of their lives.
Nestled in the tranquil village of Lea Marston, Eden provides an educational environment that allows stillness and calm for all learners, staff and visitors. The peaceful surroundings and quiet location allows for personal reflection and opportunities to explore the outdoors and connect with nature. Eden hosts a main learning hub and additional vocational pods to support practical learning sessions.
Eden is centered on compassion and purpose placing each young
person at the heart of the learning opportunities we provide.
Understanding purpose and opportunities for achievement is a foundation for all who attend Eden. Meaningful educational pathways have been specifically designed to help young people reconnect with learning, rebuild confidence and begin to see a positive future for themselves.
Our Purpose
Re-engagement is Where Progress Begins

Eden also serves to enable learners to find their purpose through learning experiences that help them recognise their own strengths and abilities so their personal achievements are recognised and valued.

Student led Learning
Giving Young People a Voice
As young people are more likely to engage when they feel heard, their voice plays an important role in the Eden approach. Young people will be supported to contribute to decisions about their learning, interests, aspirations and next steps. This does not mean removing structure or expectations, but it places an onus on building responsibility for making choices and decisions and strengthening confidence in the learning process. We want our learners to move from being passive recipients of education to becoming increasingly active participants in their own futures.
- Contribute to decisions about their learning.
- Share their passions and aspirations.
- Help shape their next steps.
