On 11 December, we supported an emergency referral move to Enidaso House. With very little time to plan, our team quickly mobilised experienced staff to provide the right support for a young person with complex mental health needs.
From the outset, it was clear this individual required intensive, compassionate care. The past few weeks have brought many challenges, highs and lows, but throughout it all our team has shown remarkable resilience, commitment and, above all, genuine care and dedication.
Initially, the young person did not want to be in the home and was reluctant to engage or build relationships with staff. Fast forward just three weeks, and we are already seeing positive change. They have begun to trust their support team, form meaningful connections, and even created this beautiful picture for our fantastic Registered Manager, Laura McLaughlin.
While there will no doubt be further challenges ahead, we are confident that with the continued support of our dedicated team, this young person will keep progressing towards their goals and feel increasingly settled in their new home.
We are incredibly proud of our team’s hard work and dedication and look forward to seeing many more positive outcomes for the young people we support in 2026. A truly fantastic start to the New Year. 🌟
